Learning Cavalry

I’ve been learning Cavalry alongside After Effects. So far, I’ve mostly used it for procedural animation and loops. Being able to change a few values and quickly see a different result makes it a good place to try ideas.

There’s still a learning curve. I keep reaching for After Effects shortcuts out of habit, and the timing takes a bit of getting used to.

Most of what I’ve learned so far has come from scenery.io. Taking apart their free scenes has helped me understand how things are built.

I’ve also upgraded to Pro to try audio-driven animation. That’s the next thing I want to explore.
