Tools I Use All the Time
Typeface is my go-to app for managing and browsing fonts. It lets me preview everything in one place and group fonts together — even ones that aren’t installed. When I’m working on a brand project, I can pull up collections I’ve saved from past explorations or dig into my full library without having to install anything. It’s well designed and fast, and I like that it’s a one-off purchase instead of another subscription.
I use Pitch to present ideas to clients. It’s a browser-based deck builder, but it handles video, imagery and branding way better than something like Google Slides. You can create templated layouts and styled text, so once a deck’s set up, it’s easy to update. I also find it handy for tracking — it lets me know which slides were viewed and for how long, which is useful when sharing work for review.
