Tools I Use All the Time

Typeface

Typeface helps me browse my font library and compare options at the start of a brand project. I can preview fonts without installing them and revisit collections I’ve put together for earlier jobs. Having them in one place makes that first round of exploration easier.

Pitch

I use Pitch to put together presentations for clients. It works well for the mix of imagery and video I need to show. Once I’ve set up the layouts and type styles, I can reuse them for the next presentation instead of starting again.

Cavalry

Cavalry is useful when an animation involves repeated shapes, loops or lots of variations. I can build a setup and change its values to try different results. After Effects still has its place, but I like having another way to approach those jobs.
