RZNY
Working directly with RZNY, I developed the activewear label’s brand identity, including the wordmark, symbols, typography and colour palette. The work also covered art direction, apparel applications and brand guidelines.
One identity, three marks
The Y resolves into a forward arrow. Its two shapes and sharp diagonal cuts give the mark a sense of movement. The wordmark introduces the name. The Y-mark gives the identity a compact symbol, while the badge works in contained applications. Each has a clear role, with consistent spacing and monochrome artwork keeping the system recognisable at different scales.
From mark to material
I tested the identity on activewear and the details around it: caps, training pieces, outerwear and hangtags. These mockups explore scale, placement and contrast across the range. They are identity application studies, rather than final garment production artwork.
Identity in motion
Short motion studies bring the typography and photography together, with clear holds and simple transitions. Developed for this case study using Jitter templates, they show how the identity can extend into moving content.
A system to work with
The final guidelines bring the logo rules, colour palette, typography and imagery direction together. Apparel and social examples make the direction practical, showing how the core identity can stay consistent as the brand grows.
